成功多多承诺高息策略，对于那些寻找高股息回酬的投资者，成功多多是一个理想的投资目标，主要是因其业务具备高度的抗跌性。
自成功多多（BJTOTO，1562，主板贸服股）在半年前推出多多万字积宝游戏以来，已让该集团重新回到博彩字票游戏市场份额之首的怀抱。
在成功多多强稳的资产负债表支撑下，而且在未来两年不愁还债烦恼的问题，不少分析员皆认为，该集团在未来的股息派发可盼出现惊喜。
业务高抗跌性
该集团承诺高息策略，对于那些寻找高股息回酬的投资者，成功多多是其中一个理想的投资目标，主要是因业务高抗跌性。
成功多多的主要业务包括：营运多多博彩万字票游戏、出租线上博彩设备、制造与经销电脑化博彩与投票系统、产业投资与发展、营运保健与健身中心、营运酒店以及投资控股。
目前，多多博彩在国内提供6种彩票游戏，每周开彩3次，另加每年特别开彩约20次。
在海外方面，成功多多也通过其菲律宾当地上市的营运子公司——菲律宾成功股份有限公司（Berjaya Philippines Inc，简称BPI）拥有业务。
其中，BPI透过其独资子公司——菲律宾博彩管理公司（PGMC），供应和维护电脑化线上博彩体统，以及为菲律宾慈善大彩办事处提供软件支援。
菲律宾宋吕岛的博彩业务已于1995年投入运作，当地目前有超过2630间销售站提供8种博彩游戏。
至于在美国业务上，则通过子公司International Lottery & Totalizator Systems（ILTS），为线上彩票、全球赛车彩池和美国投票司法提供电脑化投注设备和系统。
全年盈利可回扬
业绩表现方面，成功多多在过去3财年的净利皆出现下滑趋势，从2009年4月30日年财的4亿1355万4000令吉，
跌至2011财年的3亿4976万1000令吉。
然而，在2012财年截至2011年10月31日第二季，成功多多的净利达1亿567万3000令吉，比上财年同季激增62.4%。
由此可见，尽管开彩次数相比上财年同期减少，但在新博彩游戏推出和更低的派彩率，赚幅提高下促使该集团交出亮眼业绩。
半年股息16仙
至于在半年表现，净利合计达1亿9777万7000令吉，相等于2011全年的56.5%，在下半年是传统的强劲季节下，全年盈利有望重回增长趋势。
成功多多次季营业额8亿6237万1000令吉，首两季总合17亿818万1000令吉。
此外，该集团在次季也宣布派发每股8仙股息，比上财年同季的4仙高出一倍，半年内的股息达16仙。
根据成功多多的股息政策，该集团将延续派发至少75%的净利政策，惟这将取决于其现金流和储备金状况等因素而定。
截至2011年10月30日，该集团的存款、现金与银行余款达4亿7179万4000令吉，并且没有任何的银行贷款。
然而，成功多多在2011财年，共发行总值5亿5000万令吉、利率介于4.8%至6%的中期票据。
艾芬投资银行分析员指出，直到2013年中期，该集团都没有任何还债的烦恼，相信可提供相当大的空间于高股息惊喜。
分析员称，该股下行风险，也可借由活跃股票回购计划和稳健资产负债表来支撑。
除了上述原因，达证券行分析员表示，催化成功多多来季带来更高股息惊喜的负债率低也是影响关键。
新游戏受欢迎 重回龙头地位
在去年6月，多多博彩推出传统万字游戏另一种包含积宝特色的新玩法——多多万字积宝游戏，保证派出“积宝1”至少200万令吉奖金和“积宝2”至少10万令吉奖金。
自推出多多万字积宝游戏以来，成功多多的整体销售额已有增长的趋势，受欢迎程度已放映在强劲的业务上，重新站上该领域的龙头地位。
随着农历新年快到，一般上，在佳节期间，博彩游戏的需求特别强劲，促使该集团在下半年的盈利前景可观。
至于在菲律宾方面，随着Grandlotto 6/55六合彩游戏的推出，以及EZ2和3-Digit游戏的开采次数增加，预计本财年的营收可取得良好增长水平。
此外，BPI新成立的子公司——Perdana Hotel Philippines Inc（PHPI），在马卡迪市经营成功马尼拉酒店。
然而，值得关注的是，丹斯里陈志远在近期内脱售成功多多股份，或影响市场情绪和股价走势；而其他需考量的因素包括彩池税的变动、经济前景展望、可支配开销以及派彩率的走势。

RHB Research maintains Buy on Berjaya Toto

KUALA LUMPUR: RHB Research has maintained its Buy call on Berjaya Sports Toto (BST) with a fair value of RM4.46 from RM5.01 following a revision in its earnings estimates and WACC assumption to 8.5% to align with MAG’s, as well as incorporate a more realistic terminal growth rate of 1.3%.

In a note on Thursday, RHB said BST shares came under some selling pressure when it cancelled plans to list its Malaysia NFO division in Singapore.

“Nonetheless, the stock is still a Buy, as its appealing 6.6%-6.9% annual yield makes it the most attractive dividend play under our gaming coverage,” it said.

RHB said the company’s move to call off plans to list its Malaysia NFO operation in Singapore may have been a blessing in disguise, as the proposal would eventually have diluted BST’s interest in the latter to 28.7% (from 100%), which would then subject BST to a holding company discount due to loss of a directly-owned business.

RHB said BST’s 1HFY14 core net profit of RM177.7mil was below estimates, as 88%-owned Berjaya Philippines’ contributions weakened due to competition from Pacific Online Systems.

“We understand that Pacific currently has about 900 lottery terminals in Luzon compared with Berjaya Philippines estimated 5,000.

“To counter this, BST is looking to increase its presence by deploying 700 terminals over the next 3-6 months. This move prompts us to cut our EPS forecasts by 6.7% for FY14F and 7.7% for FY15F to incorporate higher opex, while, at the same time, introduce our FY16F forecasts,” it said.

Hello, would like to understand the dividen paid. In this case, if holding 1k lots, total dividen getting for Dec, year 2013 would be as below:-

13rd of Dec dividend paid out:
1k*0.06*par value=0.1=RM6

Anyone can help to confirm the understanding?

Hi Verice,

This is wrong. You should use par value only if the dividend is declared in percentage.
The latest dividend of BJTOTO is declared in cent instead of percentage, i.e. "Second interim single tier exempt dividend of 6 sen per share".
So, the dividend amount you get is:

dividend amount = number of lot x dividend declared in cents
= 1000 x RM0.06
= RM60

Otherwise if the dividend is declared in percentage, e.g. "Second interim single tier exempt dividend of 6%".

dividend amount = number of lot x dividend declared in percentage x par value
= 1000 x 6% x RM0.1
= RM6

BJTOTO is giving a bonus/right issue at 1:43 ratio. Can someone explain what does this mean? For example, someone who owns 1000 shares, how would this affect them?

If you have 1000 unit, then you will be granted 23 unit bonus share (1000/43= 23.25)

you have to trade within the range together with div then earn much overtime....sometime this kind of stock is easier to trade and could hold long time...get it? better than continuous searching for next shining object...

In year 2006, did any major change happen to bjtoto like bonus issue, right issue or massive dividend distribution?

Sports Toto – Does share price follow fundamentals?

I think the chart below gives you a picture. But there really interesting takeaway is the falling returns over the past 10 years.  Does this mean that there are less business ie gamblers?
