Anyone looking at this stock? Should be moving up soon. Should be safe to enter now. Cutloss at 1.85. Target price 2.30.

I guess the worst time for HAIO is over. If its next quarter report is improving, then i think now is the best time to buy it. It is used to be one of the highest dividend counter in klse.

High dividend yield already the past history, many people still no confident on it.Buy HUAYANG counter is much better than it,good and price cheap le.

Hi Mike,

Ya. Its dividend was affected by its business last year, but i think the price has already factor in. Who knows if it can make a come back? haha. But huayang is a good stock also, their business has been improving since last year.

mmm...its next report should tell since its pass few reports were able to maintain at EPS 3~4. But i think the down side is limitted for now, unless it post an ugly report again.

People starting panic buy HAIO now... It used to be one of the highest dividend counter in KLSE.

it makes perfect sense for Chinese consumption theme related counters (others such as YHS) to advance. it's Chinese New Year! yeah

hai-o's traditional business model needs an overhaul.

Yeah. YHS is a good stock also. Waiting for correction before i jump in. Their business has been improving quite a lot recently wub. Any idea why? Cannot really find the reason.

The chart looks very nice as the stock has broken above the 40-week SMA line at RM2.01. At the present price of RM2.30, Haio is trading at a PE of 15 times. At that multiple, Haio is fully valued. Despite the bullish technical outlook, I feel investors should take profit on their investment in Haio, especially when it approaches the resistance at RM2.40.

陳凱希：不論好景壞景‧海鷗一半淨利當股息 thumbup

（雪蘭莪‧巴生4日訊）海鷗集團董事經理陳凱希表示，不管好景或壞景，海鷗集團依然每年把一半淨利當股息分發給股東；在最高峰時期，公司或能派發超過百分之五十的股息。

他強調，公司雖然規模小，但共有7千萬令吉的現金儲備，現金流動充足。

“有時，現金可達1億令吉，這筆數額與投資額相等，成為公司穩定發展的關鍵因素。”

陳凱希是昨晚在海鷗集團與媒體金龍新春晚會上致詞。

今年派息超過50%

“過去6年，我們每年都將一半淨利派給所有股東，而今年更派息超過50%。”

他表示，公司極力保持穩健持續發展，因此堅持派出股息給股東的意念非常重要。

“此外，我們也慎選與中國口碑佳的公司合作，售賣具品牌和文化的產品。因此，儘管沒大打廣告，也有固定的客戶，保持一定的營業額。”

有形無形資產促使穩健發展

他指出，所以不管好景還是壞景，公司一樣可以保持可觀的營業額，照常發出股息給股東。

他也指出，公司的有形及無形資產，促使公司一直保持穩健發展。

他說，所謂有形資產就是公司不斷增值的大廈，還有在三四年前購置的20英畝用作公司未來宏願發展的地段，雖然目前沒有估價，但相信地價將水漲船高。

另一個有形資產就是公司1萬多名股東，公司利用高股息留住他們，陳凱希說，所以股東都不會賣掉手上的股分，堅持在背後默默支持公司。

“另外，公司的員工也是我們的有形資產，他們絕大部份也是股東，在裡頭工作總看得到公司運作的實在情況，看到一間踏實的公司。”

而陳凱希指的無形資產，就是多年來合作無間的媒體，在媒體的支持下，公司也大大增加曝光率和在宣傳上收效。

陳凱希要活到100歲

75歲的陳凱希每日靠試吃新產品和補品滋補身體來增年益壽，他因而立下活到100歲的誓言，要和海鷗這個快樂的大家庭，一起奮鬥將業績推向更高峰。

他坦言，處在這個快樂親如一家的大家庭，他對自己承諾一定要活過100歲。

他笑言，靠著海鷗產品的滋補，活到百歲並不難。

“海鷗是一間快樂的公司，銷售被譽為不朽產品的健康、文化產品。還有甚麼比從事文化與健康的行業好？”

他也指出，海鷗上市市值4億8千萬令吉，在今年過後，公司將會全力推銷並重整優勢產品，全面提高公司增長力及產品價值。

出席宴會者包括海鷗企業總經理陳祈福、媒體聯絡經理張賜興、巴生中華總商會會長梁家興、星洲日報企業公共與業務促進總經理謝念芳、經理劉昆昇、高級廣告經理卓乙平、巴生濱海及烏雪區經理郭富廣、巴生濱海區採訪主任林寶源。

Hai-O Q4 profit rises to RM13.27mil

Hai-O Enterprise Bhd recorded a slightly higher pre-tax profit of RM13.27 million for the fourth quarter ended April 30, 2012 compared to the RM12.392 million seen in the same period last year.

Revenue rose to RM69.436 million from the RM58.26 million recorded previously, said the company in a filing to Bursa Malaysia today.

It said the increase in revenue was mainly contributed by the multi-level marketing and wholesale divisions.

"The financial performance of the retail division was relatively flat in the fourth quarter, affected by the slow-down in general market sentiment.

"It is despite heavy advertising and promotion for the year-end members' sales promotion," it added.

On prospects, the board of directors believe that the group will remain positive in the next financial year. Bernama

Haio past 1 week try very hard to break above 2.57 but fail to penetrate it. However, it also refuse to come down which indicate possible going up higher once it go above 2.58. Which mean safe entry level will be 2.59 and we are looking at 2.73 as next resistance level for the near term...
