The current market price of Nestle Malaysia is rather high though the price has maintained its normal fluctuations over the last eight  months. I wonder why the company has not considered to give a bonus or rights issue to bring the price down. Investor of Nestle Malaysia.  Investor in Nestle Malaysia.

Comments on returns from share invetments.

Yes without doubt the Nestle share price is the highest;at RM 146.00 today. Its quoted DY=2..83%. Other Financial Ratios are: ROE=74.98%,PE 51.79; NTA= RM3.77.  In 2018 Dividends were paid in May, Sept. and Nov. Total dividends paid three times in 2018 =RM2.75, and this is probably the highest figure  in Bursa. So don't be misguided with the low DY of Nestle at 2.83% which you may say is low when you compare with what you get from bank's FD rate at 3% pa to 4% pa. But this is not a true comparisan. One must always use ROE to compute your return.   In Nestle  the ROE   is high at 74.98% though the Dividend may be small. Remember yr return in Nestle comes from two sectors- appreciation in share price in Nestle and the dividend which may be low. Often investors forget  to consider the two sectors which contribute together to give you a better return.

I shall  attempt to do the compare comparisan for another share like Dutch Lady malaysia..

May I advise other investors to give your comments on the results and conclusion I have made above on computing returns using dividends and ROE.

I am very disappointed with Nestle Malaysia (NM) management and/or board of Directors for their lack of response to answer several questions relating to its chance of any announcement relating to bonus or other rewards to long term share holders which are primarily aimed at bringing down the high share price. May i advise NM to delve into this question for an answer.

Also I wish to raise another  question related to what was raised by analyst Koon Tew Yin on 4/3/2019 which related to, his view, " Why is EPF buying NM more often from the market?" As I understand from  Koon's explanation based on his answer was that low PE of NM does not  generally imply that it is a good share to buy. I wonder what is the response of NM to KTY's explanation. Please note my point or view is that my comments/question raised herein carries  no prejudice to any one.

Words of advice there so many stocks in Malaysia.Never bought some-more overbought stocks.Look like Rothman it was rm 70 over stock last few years ago.Now it Rm 30 over stocks with low of over 20 over ringgit.Sell Nestle and buy AirAsia Group  early next month.I will say its a grow stocks with new plane arrive only 18-25  percent of the total order. If    Let say 80-90 percent of the new plane arrive how much it will worth? It fuel efficient plane.Heavy on AirAsia Group by starting disposing Nestle. Please have patient to wait for 5-10 years.Patient will be rewarded. One blog website block me to tell the truth like recommend AirAsia Group.
