DIVIDEND REINVESTMENT PLAN THAT GIVES ITS SHAREHOLDERS THE OPTION TO REINVEST THEIR CASH DIVIDEND(S) DECLARED BY M&G IN NEW ORDINARY SHARES OF M&G ("SHARES") ("DRP")

We refer to the announcements dated 21 June 2017, 23 June 2017, 11 July 2017, 12 July 2017 and 23 August 2017, and the dividend reinvestment plan statement and notice of election in relation to the DRP dated 28 July 2017.

 

On behalf of the Board of Directors of M&G, Affin Hwang Investment Bank Berhad and Astramina Advisory Sdn Bhd wish to announce that M&G had on, 23 August 2017, issued and allotted 22,345,183 new Shares pursuant to the DRP in respect of the Special Dividend and Interim Dividend. The new Shares were listed and quoted on the Main Market of Bursa Securities with effect from 9.00 a.m. on Thursday, 24 August 2017.

 

With the listing of the new Shares, the enlarged share capital of M&G is RM182,533,848.81 comprising 723,878,744 Shares.
