ISLAMIC MEDIUM TERM NOTES ("IMTN") PROGRAMME OF UP TO RM5.0 BILLION IN NOMINAL VALUE BASED ON THE SHARIAH PRINCIPLE OF WAKALAH BI AL-ISTITHMAR ("SUKUK PROGRAMME") (THE IMTN SHALL BE REFERRED TO AS "SUKUK WAKALAH").

Reference is made to the announcement dated 9 August 2019, 17 October 2019, 17 August 2020 and 7 December 2021 in relation to the Sukuk Programme.

 

On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Company, Maybank Investment Bank Berhad is pleased to announce that the Company has today, made its fourth issuance of Sukuk Wakalah under the Sukuk Programme. The Sukuk Wakalah issued under the Sukuk Programme is for an aggregate nominal value of RM500.0 million with tenures of 5 years and 7 years (“Fourth Issuance”).

 

Maybank Investment Bank Berhad is the sole Principal Adviser and Lead Arranger for the Sukuk Programme. AmInvestment Bank Berhad, Maybank Investment Bank Berhad and United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) Bhd are the Joint Lead Managers for the Fourth Issuance.
