Mr. John Koon Tzer Lim ("John") is the Assistant Manager of the Risk Management department at Press Metal Aluminium Holdings Berhad ("PMAH"). John leads the Risk Management team and ensures the Group's Risk Framework is aligned with ISO31000 practices. He effectively manages and mentors a team of Risk Management personnel, providing guidance and support tailored to the operating nature and culture of the Group. Additionally, John presents Risk Management matters to the Risk Management Committee ("RMC") on a quarterly basis, summarizing all team activities and offering clear and concise recommendations for managing risks. He has further strengthened the Group's risk reporting by developing Key Risk Indicators and a Risk Heatmap, facilitating effective prioritization of risks for the RMC.
Prior to joining the Risk department, John worked as an Insurance Liaison Executive, overseeing the Group's insurance programs and negotiating better terms with insurers. He actively participated in risk surveys and coordinated the implementation of recommended mitigation actions. Furthermore, John led a feasibility study on establishing a captive insurance company for the marine insurance program, thoroughly analyzing costs, benefits, potential savings, and associated risks. |

Mr. John Koon Tzer Lim is the son of Mr. Koon Poh Ming, nephew to Tan Sri Dato' Koon Poh Keong, Dato' Koon Poh Tat, Mr. Koon Poh Kong and Mr. Koon Poh Weng. Mr. Koon Poh Ming is the Executive Vice Chairman of the Company. Tan Sri Dato' Koon Poh Keong is the Group Chief Executive Officer and a major shareholder of the Company. Dato' Koon Poh Tat, Mr. Koon Poh Kong and Mr. Koon Poh Weng are Executive Directors of the Company. |
