RHB BANK

What is there not to like about RHB bank  Financials are within industrial levels. Like any other banks main revenue is from fixed income portfolios.

There's one up for RHB bank with their multi-tier currency platform which is 24/7 modus operandi and with fair spread between buy and sell.  The platform generates non fixed income proportional to the number of accounts and the number of transactions and transaction value per account.  Huge income potential.

PROPOSED RENEWAL OF AUTHORITY FOR SHARE BUY-BACK dd 31st oct 2023.

Quote:

The Listing Requirements stipulate that the proposed purchase by a listed company of its own shares must be made wholly out of the retained profits of the listed company. The maximum amount of funds to be allocated by the Company for the Proposed Renewal of Authority for Share Buy Back shall not exceed the total amount of retained profits available. Based
on the latest audited financial statements of Bornoil as at 30 June 2023, the Company has retained profits of RM172,765,834.  Unquote.

The Company decided it is better to effect share buy-back rather than issuance as dividend.

Ops I forgot "This is decided by the company based on its needs" not shareholders' need ha ha.

DIVIDEND

Since March 2017 reporting, no dividend has ever been paid to investors. Investors funds was utilized but without benefit to the investors.  Missing a few quarters due to poor results is understandable but this is not.

Bursa Malaysia need to review / update the dividend policy of listed companies.
