Thanks, but whether they have better dividend payout is just speculative at this point in time... Unless there were some announcements or you have inside news;)

Hope it's the later. Will keep an eye on this stock. Thanks for sharing!

So why is it still so undervalued?

Very likely a lot of analysts and investor didn't know that they had diversified into plantation about 6 years ago. During those years the company had been using its internally generated profit to buy the plantation then invest about RM50m to plant the palm oil trees over the last 5+ years. Reason why they made about 18s EPS for last few years but only pays a dividend of 4s a year. Going forward they don't have to incur anymore planting expenditure so we can expect much better dividend next year onwards. People are also worried about his sewerage job exposure in Syria earlier on.

It has very good earnings and assets and is extremely undervalue. With a paid up capital of 120m and last 2 quarters EPS of about 8s per share nett of tax each quarter. Stand alone PE of 10 the share is already worth about 3.00 before contribution from its recently diversified business of oil palm plantation. It also has 16,000 of planted palm oil estates that had started to produce about 700 tonnes of FFB for the month of July 2012 which is equivalent to about 700 to 800 acres of mature producing palm oil estate and going forward its mature acreage with hit a peak of 16000 acres with FFB yield of about 15000 tonnes per month in about 2 to 3 years time. By then plantation would have contributed another say RM60+m additional after tax profit and this is equivalent to EPS of about 50s per share. So at PE 10 and total potential income of 80s this share is worth RM8.00 in 3 years time. Extremely under value right? Also value of plantation asset at a conservative value of RM30k per acres will give a nett asset of RM480m which is equivalent to RM4.00 per share base on oil palm plantation asset only.
